At Henley Engineers, we have invested heavily over the last 5 years in our CNC Machining section. 
We machine a wide variety of materials including Brass, Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and Plastics all of various grades. There is also the possibility to manufacture one off specialised components and small batch quantities with the use of our manual turning and milling capabilities that can take larger sized components in a variety of materials. 
 
We have two CNC turning centres and 1 CNC bar feed machine. 
We also have two CNC machining centres with 4th axis. 
Manual machinery is also available. 
Henley Engineering offers CNC machining for Small, Medium and Large batch production.

Doosan Mynx 6500/50 with a 1400mm x 670mm bed capacity that includes a 4th Axis rotary chuck. 

Doosan Mynx 6500/50 vertical machining centre specifications 
The Mynx 6500 is a powerful, high production workhorse. A generously proportioned machine table, coupled with excellent capacity for movement in all 4 axes, enables large components to be machined. On smaller components, multiple operations can be readily performed during a single program cycle. The 4th axis rotary table enables multiple operations around a 360 degree rotation of the machined part. 
The integral box slideway construction enhances rigidity of the machine under the most aggressive machining conditions. The BT50 spindle and tooling also contributes to the Mynx’s ability to power through the toughest materials. 
This machine benefits greatly from the addition of a Renishaw OMP 40 spindle probing system, which facilitates faster setup times and greater accuracy in registering the position of components to the machine work offsets.

Doosan DNM 5700 with a 1300mm x 570mm bed capacity that also includes a 4th Axis rotary chuck. 

Doosan DNM 5700 vertical machining centre specifications 
The DNM 5700 is a medium capacity vertical machining centre. A 4th axis rotary table complements the 3 axis machine, adding an extra dimension to its capabilities. The 30 position BT40 tool carousel provides sufficient capacity for the most complex machining applications. 
The machine benefits from quick change automatic tool change, which reduces dead time in the machining process. Spindle speed ramps up to a maximum 8000rpm for high speed machining of lighter materials. 
 
This machine benefits greatly from the addition of a Renishaw OMP 60 spindle probing system, which facilitates faster setup times and greater accuracy in registering the position of components to the machine work offsets.

Doosan Puma 3100 lathe specifications 
Doosan Puma 3100 with a 15” Chuck and ##mm bar capacity capable of working on components up to a diameter of 525mm. 
The Puma 3100 offers our largest capacity for CNC turned parts. With a maximum turning diameter of 525mm and maximum work piece length of 760mm, the Puma copes with most of our heavy turning needs. 
The generously powered Alpha P40 spindle motor generates up to 1,123Nm of torque, enabling the effortless machining of some of the most difficult materials. 
 
The machine’s integral box guideway construction ensures the rigidity necessary to maintain the high accuracy required over repeated machining cycles.

Doosan Puma 2600 lathe specifications 
Doosan Puma GT2600 with a 10” Chuck and ##mm bar capacity capable of working on components up to a diameter of 481mm. 
The Puma 2600 ideally complements our other turning capacity, providing a high speed, medium capacity, alternative to the Puma 3100. The maximum spindle speed of 4000rpm facilitates efficient machining of smaller components and materials that require lighter machining. 
However, the powerful 22kW still packs a punch, and is as capable of delivering high torque at lower speeds. The 12 position turret ensures that the Puma 2600 is also capable of higher complexity than our other lathes during the machining process.

Doosan Lynx 2100 lathe specifications 
A Doosan Lynx 2100 with an 8” Chuck and a Collet Chuck that can take up to 2” bar diameter fed by a Hydra Feed magazine style, automatic bar feed. 
This machine has the flexibility to operate in both bar feed and chucking configurations. The cartridge loading bar feed mechanism enables the continuous production of turned parts up to 2” (51mm) capacity via the collet chuck. 
Alternatively, an 8” (203mm) three jaw chuck may be mounted to load and turn individual parts above the capacity of the bar feed system. 
 
With a maximum turning diameter of 350mm, a maximum turning length of 550mm, and a spindle speed up to 6000rpm, the Lynx has proved itself to be a versatile addition to our machining capabilities.
